Africa Cooperation Fund

Africa Cooperation Fund

The idea of a G-15 Fund for the development of Africa was first mooted at the XII Summit held in 2004 in Caracas, Venezuela. This initiative was aimed at assisting needy African countries. While some initial pledges were made at the Summit by some member countries, others were invited to also contribute to the Fund.
